Samuel Bryce Griffis, 90, passed away on December 09, 2020, due to COVID -19 complications. Bryce was born April 21, 1930, to Sam and Pauline Griffis in Sturgis MS. He grew up in Grenada MS and graduated from Grenada High School, where he was a four-sport letterman and an Eagle Scout.
He served four years in the Mississippi National Guard, including 18 months of active duty during the Korean conflict.

CLEVELAND – Theresa Hedge Pearson, age 58, of Cleveland, MS passed away on Monday, December 07, 2020, at her home in Cleveland.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. She was born on September 25, 1962, to Franklin and Sherry (Jennings) Hedge in Munich Germany.

Steven J. (Steve) McClellan, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Saturday, December 5, in his beloved Delta hunting grounds near Gunnison, Mississippi.
A lifelong son of the Delta, Steve’s beloved parents, Albert Polk McClellan and Gloria Jean Guerieri McClellan, both of Cleveland, preceded him in death and were there to welcome him to heaven, along with Steve’s dear nephew, Matt Gregory.
He began his educational journey at Bayou Academy and then earned degrees from Mississippi Delta Community College and Delta State University (BA and MBA).

Leila Downs Clark Wynn
Greenville – Leila Downs Clark Wynn, age 88 died October 31, 2020 at her home. Services will be held at St. James Episcopal Church in Greenville. She was born February 4, 1932 at her parent’s home in San Augustine, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents, Anne Metcalfe Clark and Edward Clark and her son, William Thomas Wynn II.
Mrs. Wynn graduated from Saint Mary’s Hall in San Antonio,
Dr. Thomas Neville Boschert, 90, of Duncan, Mississippi, died at his home on October, 26, 2020 with family members present. Because of Covid-19 precautions, a family-only graveside burial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, in the Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, Mississippi handled the arrangements.
Dr. Boschert graduated from Duncan High School in 1946 and attended the University of Mississippi where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1950.
Melissa Susan Pearce died in her sleep at home surrounded by the love of her family on November 5, 2019 and is now resting in the peace of Jesus.
Missy is preceded in death by her father, Charles Levi Pearce; her grandparents Everlena and William Otis Stallings and Mallie and Levi Pearce; and Donnie Deason the father of her children, former husband and friend.
