The Robert E. Smith School of Nursing Centennial Fund was created at the request of President William LaForge through his direction of a portion of a generous unrestricted grant provided to the University by the Gertrude C. Ford Foundation.
In recognition of the Gertrude C. Ford Foundation’s special contribution, it is our goal for the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing alumni, faculty, staff and friends to match the $2,000 allocated to the College. This additional support will create a source of funding which will help increase the College’s ability to address some of its most important priorities.
Gifts to this fund contribute to the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing’s faculty development, scholarships, research and services, equipment, hardware, and software.
The Robert E. Smith School of Nursing offers a wide range of programs for students who want to pursue a career in nursing. From offering a BSN to Nurse Practitioner programs, our students have access to a great nursing education. Supporting this fund will enhance their education and therefore the level of care they will bring to the community when they enter the workforce.
